Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country pop music and songwriting, gained fame on television after she was cast as Alex in the last three seasons of One Tree Hill. The series featured her first albums as country music which helped her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One (2015), the follow-up album in 2015, was also among the Top Ten. Over the past decade, she was a guest on Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and several TV shows. She also released some singles which were not albums. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Her focus was on her musical career thereafter without retiring from acting she was a part of films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer launched her second album of her own, Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. Her album, Thirty One was the Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and The duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach third place on the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. Beginning in September of 2016 the singer was a part of two weeks in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, and finished with an overall fourth place. That same year, the song It's like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser was hugely popular among adults.
